(More customer reviews)I completely agree with other reviews that tout the effectiveness of the Pool Devil but $35+ for replacement socks is just ridiculous. You could order the entire device (which comes with 2 socks) for that amount. I still have a extra sock but in an attempt to see if the pool devil could gather more debris with a larger sock we used a panty hose (just snipped off one of the legs)...and guess what? It worked great! Don't be a suckered into shelling out big bucks for a couple of strips of nylon sewn together. Great little product...but they're gouging consumers for this accessory. Oh yes, and you can purchase the Pool Devil for much less than Amazon's current price elsewhere on the web.
