(More customer reviews)I took a gamble on this since there are no dimensions in the description. For those who want to know, you have to have the water 3.5" to 5.5" deep. That leaves about 2" between the max fill line and the top of the rock - I don't think any turtle could make that vertical climb. My 6" turtle had no hope for sure. A frog or a newt would probably like it.
The overall dimensions are approximately 8"x8"x8" so it would take up a lot of room in a very small tank. I have it in a 40 gallon breeder and it's not bad.
It runs quietly, it seems to be doing its job and it look natural. The medium bio bags are the same size and are a bit cheaper than the reptofilter ones especially if you get the unassembled ones.
