(More customer reviews)I purchased this product in spite of the minimal (but highly rated) reviews but some reviewers stated it worked fine so I thought I'd give it a go... I really wanted to purchase the Solofill replaceable filter as it appears to be the best by far based on customer reviews and fairly similar in price BUT that is on backorder for 2 months (even from the mfg's website). Rightly so...
This product is based on a simple use concept... 1) remove the foil wrap from the top of used K-Cups, 2) clean out the old grinds by rinsing them out, 3) let the filter dry out overnite after cleaning (recommended), 4) fill with your favorite pre-ground coffee (about 2 scoops will suffice) 5) snugly insert the "Kap" into the K-Cup and then brew your coffee. I was skeptical at first to see if it would work properly (without spills etc...) as well as if the coffee brewed was drinkable and strong enough. I brewed a cup for myself and right after that cup I filled another K-cup with grinds and cup #2 was made. Both cups of coffee came out with full flavor and were plenty strong to both myself AND my wife's liking (which is a BIG thumbs up).
BOTTOM LINE:
I had a REAL problem paying approx .50 for home made coffee as I'm cheap and I buy LARGE buckets of Maxwell House, Folgers etc... which lowers my per cup price down dramatically to an affordable level regardless of the coffee maker being used. By purchasing this product it makes my Valentine's present Keurig Coffee maker a REAL treat. I highly recommend the use of this product especially when there really isn't a viable option at this time. It's easy to use and makes a great cup of Joe andit does make it even more affordable for those looking to find an affordable solution for K-Cup coffee.!
DOWNSIDE:
The price dropped $3 from the supplier right after I made the purchase which somewhat irked me... maybe the supplier will give me a refund due to the submission of my glaring 5 star review ;)

If it breaks any time, we will replace it.These kaps will allow you to reuse your Keurig K-Cups many times. You can refill your K-Cups with your favorite coffee or tea. Three colors are included, clear, red, and green. The Keurig standard approach involves the purchase of K-Cups with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. The K-Cups make excellent coffee. But they each cost anywhere from $.25 to $.50 per cup depending on the quantity and where you purchase them. If you like to drink coffee like me, this can add up to quite a bill really quickly. So you say, why not get a reusable K-Cup. Good idea. But there are a few problems with the system Keurig wants you to use. First the reusable K-Cups cost $14 and up. If you want 10 of them, that is $140 just for the reusable cups. Second, the Keurig's resusable K-Cup does not produce as good of a cup of coffee as the K-Cup itself. The designs are different and the water flows out the sides of the filter rather than down through the coffee. Third, the design is big, bulky, and hard to store. If you already have a turnstile for K-Cups, you can not store these there. With this product you can.The Kap allows you to recycle your K-Cups. Fill them with your favorite coffee or tea. And use them many times before they have to be thrown out for good. That lowers your cost for each cup of brew and also give you better brews each time.
